The company also released a special tribute video across its social media platforms celebrating Lesnar’s incredible career, featuring names like UFC President Dana White, Paul Heyman, Stone Cold, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and John Cena.
World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns also shared a video, where he thanked his longtime rival for everything they shared inside the ring while praising Lesnar’s lasting impact on WWE.
“He’s gotta be one of the greatest pro-wrestlers of all time. When you put it all together, no-one’s done it like him. No-one will ever do it like him I don’t think.”
The respect shown toward Lesnar continued on the following episode of Monday Night Raw. During a backstage interaction with Paul Heyman, Oba Femi asked the legendary manager to personally thank Lesnar for their trilogy of matches and for calling him “the future of WWE” after their SummerSlam showdown.
The exchange further reinforced the feeling that Lesnar had officially passed the torch to WWE’s next generation.
