Has Drew McIntyre signed a new WWE contract? The Rock provides big update

Drew McIntyre is one of the highly talented professional wrestlers in the current WWE roster. The Scottish Warrior played a major role in the upliftment of WWE during the COVID19 Pandemic era. He carried the company solely on his shoulders, when no major stars appeared for the show due to travel restrictions. He had two WWE Championship reigns during the time and made the worst year into one of the greatest years for him.

Although was the hero during the pandemic, he never got a chance to hold the championship in the company thereafter, especially in front of the live crowd. McIntyre after a long wait turned his career back into the top card placing himself among some of the best wrestlers in the company.

Drew had a great run in the company so far, and was reported that he is getting close to his contract end. As there was no update on Drew McIntyre’s contract status, The Rock revealed that Drew McIntyre has signed a new contract with WWE.

The Rock reveals Drew McIntyre’s new WWE contract

The Rock on his Instagram post shared a video of Drew McIntyre receiving mail and a sword. Rock then wrote that he is a man of his words and congratulated Drew McIntyre for signing a new deal with WWE. Rock says that he wanted to personally deliver this gift to him, but hilariously said that his cheat meals and tequila is waiting for him.

The Rock wrote,

“Man of my word – As you’re a man of yours – Congratulations @dmcintyrewwe on signing your new @wwe deal. As we talked about after your #WrestleMania match, I know this Scottish Claymore represents everything that you, your family and your country embody. Alba gu bràth – As you know, I wanted to personally hand deliver this gift to you at your meeting with Nick Kahn, but I had warm cheat meals and chilled tequila waiting for me. Congrats again brother and cheers to hunger, passion, climbing that mountain and always entertaining our fans.”

Details of McIntyre’s WWE contract

Fightful has reported that Drew McIntyre and WWE has been negotiating a contract extension deal since March 2024 and it got finalized today. McIntyre is reported to be more happy with his new deal. According to the report, McIntyre’s contract is a multi-year and big-money contract. However there aren’t any accurate details about his contract yet.
