Jacob Fatu is an American professional Wrestler, from the Anoa’i Wrestling Family. He is the son of Sam Fatu, cousin of The Usos and is the nephew of Rikishi, The Rock and Roman Reigns. Jacob Fatu was trained by Rikishi and made his debut in 2012.

He states that The Usos are his inspirations for his professional wrestling career. He spent the first seven years of his career in the independent promotions and moved to Major League Wrestling, teaming up with fellow Anoa’i family members there. He was a MLW World Heavyweight Champion there, holding the title for 819 days, which is the longest title reign in the history of MLW.

In February 2024, he became a free agent after a five-year tenure and was teased to have negotiating deals with WWE, AEW & TNA Wrestling. It was reported that Jacob Fatu has signed with WWE. Here is what we know.

Jacob Fatu signed with WWE?

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful select reported that the former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, Jacob Fatu has wrapped up with MLW in February. Fightful heard that he had told others that he had signed with WWE this past week, which pulled from his scheduled GCW appearance on Saturday.

Following that hours before WrestleMania 40 Night 2, SE Scoops reported that they saw Jacob Fatu in Philadelphia outside the Marriot Downtown in the morning and taking photos of his fan. They acknowledged the Fightful report that he is WWE bound and further said that there is a possible Bloodline reboot.

SEScoops on X reported, “Can confirm Jacob Fatu is in Philadelphia, saw him outside the Marriot Downtown this morning taking photos with fans. Per Fightful, he’s #WWE bound. Bloodline Rules tonight, possible Bloodline reboot tomorrow?”

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that he has signed with WWE and will be starting soon and would get the push.

Dave Meltzer says, “Well, he signed with WWE. And he’s going to be starting soon and getting a push from what we understand.”

It seems like we could see the real life Bloodline member make his WWE debut anytime soon. How will his debut impact the Bloodline storyline? Comment your thoughts.
