Has Joe Hendry signed with WWE after his consecutive NXT appearance?

Joe Hendry made his first appearance in a NXT Battle Royale
Joe Hendry is currently one of the most popular professional wrestlers. As a result, his debut appearance in NXT as part of the Battle Royal to select Trick Williams’ challenger at Heatwave 2024 became one of the most popular videos of the year. He has now resurfaced in WWE’s developmental area as Trick’s partner, against current NXT Champion Ethan Page and Shawn Spears.
In an interview with Fightful, the wrestler acknowledged that his WWE NXT debut was a last-minute choice. He enjoys this sort of unplanned event since it allows him to react naturally rather than overact.
With Hendry’s strong popularity in WWE in recent weeks, talk has grown that he may sign a contract with the business and join full-time in the coming months. His appearances have increased his renown even more, establishing him as one of the most prominent wrestlers of the time. Now it appears that this has occurred or is in the process.
Is Joe Hendry now part of WWE? Has he signed with the company?
Following his debut on NXT this week, the roster section of WWE’s official website was updated with a photo of Joe Hendry making his entrance. Although this image is just cosmetic and does not follow the same structure as the other images of WWE Superstars currently under contract, it is interesting that the company has authorized the inclusion of an image of a wrestler who is not currently on its roster.
However, with the current TNA and WWE collaboration, Hendry is essentially operating as a freelancer. Something that will not quench the hunger of WWE fans, who want the finest to be a part of their promotion.
However, we will have to wait a bit before that happens. Even though Joe Hendry appears to be an ideal match for the NXT roster, he is still under contract with TNA. At the time, it does not appear that Joe Hendry will depart TNA wrestling.
He will compete for the company’s World Championship against six other wrestlers at Slammiversary, a pay-per-view event scheduled on July 20. That battle will also include champion Moose, Josh Alexander, Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian, and Steve Maclin. His opponents in TNA would not want him to quit the organization since they have become fans of the superstar.
Joe Hendry could be as great as John Cena believes Moose
Joe Hendry has risen to prominence among professional wrestlers. In his two outings with WWE, the world’s largest professional wrestling promotion, he has elicited enthusiastic reactions. Now, a fellow TNA wrestler has openly lauded him.
According to the YouTube channel WhatCulture Wrestling, reigning TNA World Champion Moose believes Joe Hendry has what it takes to be the next John Cena. In addition to appreciating the wrestler’s efforts to reach his current level of performance.
He said, “Joe is a very hard worker, and everything he’s getting right now he 100% deserves. I tell Joe all the time—I’m almost like Joe’s little coach in his head—I tell him all the time, ‘You’re on the cusp; you’re in the cusp of being the next John Cena. So just keep trucking and keep hitting wood. You know, you’re right there.’ I mean, he’s right there to be like the next John Cena. I’m so very happy for him, and it just shows that hard work pays off.”
