The American Nightmare is one of the top stars in professional wrestling

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes recently won the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 40. After finally finishing his story at WrestleMania, one can now look for the things other than wrestling that he did in his life.

This might include the movies and TV Shows he did in his career. He has worked for AEW too but let’s see what hall TV shows and Movies he has worked in until now.

Arrow (2015-19)

In “Arrow,” Cody Rhodes brought Derek Sampson to life with a blend of intensity and charisma, embodying the character’s evolution from a small-time thug to a formidable villain. As Derek Sampson, Rhodes portrayed a man driven by power and ambition, yet stripped of humanity by the effects of the mysterious drug Stardust. Sampson’s journey on the show was marked by a lack of empathy or remorse, his emotions numbed by the drug’s influence.

Despite Sampson’s villainous nature, Rhodes infused the character with layers of complexity, revealing glimpses of the man he once was beneath the hardened exterior. Through Rhodes’s performance, viewers witnessed the internal struggles of a man grappling with the consequences of his choices and the loss of his humanity.

Rhodes’s portrayal of Sampson added depth to the series, elevating the character beyond a mere antagonist to a compelling and multifaceted figure in the Arrowverse. His presence on the show provided gripping confrontations and high-stakes drama, captivating audiences with each appearance.

In “Arrow,” Cody Rhodes humanized Derek Sampson, crafting a character whose journey resonated with viewers, despite his villainous deeds. Through Rhodes’s performance, Sampson became more than just a foe for the Green Arrow; he became a complex and unforgettable presence in the world of Arrow.

Warehouse (2011)

Cody Rhodes appeared in “Warehouse 13” as wrestler Kurt Smoller in the episode “Merge with Caution” (Season 2, Episode 8). His role involved a comedic entanglement with a mystical artefact. Rhodes’s performance displayed his versatility outside of wrestling, injecting humor and charm into the show. This guest appearance delighted fans, offering a memorable crossover into the realm of science fiction television.

While Cody Rhodes was a great asset to both the shows in which he worked, it’s important to note that he might go for more movies and TV Shows in future as his career comes to an end that is or also after retirement. It won’t take much time for him to turn into a dashing one again.

The Naked Gun

Cody Rhodes is stepping into the world of movies with a special appearance in the reboot of the beloved comedy “The Naked Gun,” as reported by The Daily Mail. Alongside familiar faces like Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson, Rhodes is gearing up for his film debut. Sources close to the production suggest that his cameo might involve a hypnotism scene, reminiscent of a classic moment from the original 1988 film.

It sounds like an exciting opportunity for Rhodes to showcase his talents beyond the wrestling ring, though he has worked in several TV series already, we hope the debut that he makes is a great success for him.
