Ever since the return of both of these top stars, WWE has not been able to capitalize on their full potential.

The WWE roster today has some of the talented and highly skilled individuals performing each week on their major television programming, RAW and SmackDown. The era of the global juggernaut led by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE CEO Nick Khan. While the new management is giving opportunities for new stars to emerge at the top of the heap, certain superstars have seemed to be lost in the shuffle.

Two prime examples of WWE not being able to capitalize on the prevalent starpower on their RAW roster are long-time WWE superstars, Braun Strowman and Sheamus. Both members have been tenured individuals on the WWE roster and have carved out remarkable careers in the global giant winning multiple championships and accolades.

The journey of both men returning to the ring in recent memory has been similar. Both Sheamus and Strowman dealt with career-threatening injuries for months. After a successful rehabilitation process, hard work and a desire to get back in the squared circle, Sheamus and Braun Strowman came back to join Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago.

What storylines have Braun Strowman and Sheamus been involved in recent weeks?

However, considering the starpower they bring to the table, both superstars have been underutilized at the moment. For weeks, Braun Strowman has been seen either chasing members of The Judgment Day in unpopular segments that garnered no reaction from the audience or been beaten by their numbers game. Moreover, his persona as The Monster Among Men has seemingly been overshadowed by the multiple beatdowns and less than stellar matches he has been booked.

On the other hand, Sheamus was ridiculed right from the moment he returned with fat-shaming issues. As he tried to gain back momentum, The Celtic Warrior suffered a huge defeat at the hands of Gunther in the King of the Ring tournament. While now he is placed in a rivalry with Ludwig Kaiser to build his credibility as a singles stars, the storyline has seemingly wasted his potential as a top star with no major audience reaction.

Witnessing the current bookings of both Sheamus and Braun Strowman, it seems evident that WWE has failed to capitalize on their credibility as main-event talents since their return.
