The list contains some of the top stars in the company at this moment
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has grown into a multimillion-dollar company and the dominant name in the wrestling entertainment industry.
Since its inception in 1953, the company has steadily risen in prominence, and its income creation has expanded enormously over the years. As a result, WWE likes to pay its wrestlers well, as the company’s performance is closely related to the superstars.
Stamford-based company features more than 250 active professional wrestlers and personalities spread across three programs: WWE Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. The wages of these wrestlers are determined by their popularity and the regularity with which they participate in these events.
While most wrestlers make a six-figure pay, the best superstars earn a substantial seven-figure compensation each year. This list will include the highest-paid WWE wrestlers and their salaries in 2024.
All the information is according to X account WresteBuddy. These numbers are purely speculations by this social media account. So, here are the top five highest-paid WWE stars in 2024.
5. Drew McIntyre – $8 Million
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McIntyre’s new contract is a three-year extension that will keep him in Stamford-based company until April 2027, barring any time missed due to injury.
“Wrestling Observer Radio,” Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez assessed McIntyre’s three-year agreement as sensible, as well as a departure from WWE’s usual since the organization has been aiming to lock up talent for five years. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
But according to WrestleBuddy, McIntyre is earning a hefty $8 Million in 2024. So, it should not come as a surprise that the Stamford-based company wanted Drew McIntyre that bad. He was the star in the making. He is a star today. So, the Stamford-based company would be paying him a lot and also with his merchandise sales, Drew would be easily making his seven-figure mark. Also, it was The Rock confirming Drew McIntyre re-signed with the company.
4. Seth Rollins – $9 Million
According to several web sources, Seth Freakin’ Rollins is paid around $3 million each year by WWE. This works up to an excellent monthly paycheck of $250,000. In addition to the $3 million, Rollins gets a significant amount of money from WWE gear sales.
According to sources, his previous contract with the Stamford-based company was close to finishing following WrestleMania 40. As a result, his last salary may have increased. Rollins’s rank keeps him among the highest-paid performers in Stamford-based company and all of professional wrestling. According to WrestleBuddy Rollins’ was paid $9 Million this year.
3. Randy Orton – $10 Million
According to various web sources, Randy Orton’s yearly salary is $4 million in WWE. Orton’s contract was supposed to be over by September 2024, but with WrestleBuddy’s estimation, it seems like Randy Orton might have already re-signed with the Stamford-based company. But, till there is no update these things are all assumptions.
But, for someone with Orton’s stature in the company, it can be said the main deserves to earn what he is being paid and if it’s $10 Million, then of course, The Viper Randy Orton deserves it. This man legit! carried WWE on his back alongside John Cena for a decade.
2. Cody Rhodes – $10 Million
Cody Rhodes signed his current contract with WWE in 2022, earning a basic salary of $500,000. Beyond that, his annual income skyrockets to roughly $3 Million thanks to sponsorships, WWE Shops, WWE 2K games, and other revenue streams.
Cody Rhodes’ yearly basic wage increased significantly beginning in 2022, reaching $500,000. But he also gets a signing bonus of $2.5 Million. According to WrestleBuddy, Rhodes earn $10 Million. But being the face of the company and the future leading the new era it might be fine for the Stamford-based company to pay Cody a hefty ($10 Mil). Also, Rhodes signed another WWE contract in late December 2023. So, nothing is impossible.
1. Roman Reigns – $15 Million
Roman Reigns was a changed person after he returned from his leukaemia treatment in 2020. He was not just playing a heel character, but he was also brutal in the ring and at promotional events. Another major shift was his part-time schedule under his $5 million annual deal.
As, much as we know about his current deal, it allows him to be part of major WWE events and he can spend time with his family, also treating for leukaemia as well. With Roman Reigns’s WWE contract set to expire in 2025, we can expect that Stamford-based company wouldn’t let their Tribal Chief go somewhere. So, WWE might not set a bar for Roman Reigns’ payday. So, reports suggest that WWE will pay Roman Reigns $15 million in base salary.
