How Jade Cargill can be involved at WWE WrestleMania 40?

Jade Cargill made the biggest decision of her career by jumping from AEW to WWE in August 2023. Cargill however had a long wait and made her debut at Royal Rumble 2024, which turned out to be impressive. The Storm has been in the backstage of SmackDown since then and teasing of negotiating contracts.

Jade has finally signed the contract and will be making her SmackDown appearance officially next week. With WrestleMania 40 on the road, here we take a look at possible ways where Jade Cargill can be involved and be part of this year’s WrestleMania.

Help Bayley win the WWE Women’s Championship

Jade Cargill on the March 1, 2024 episode of SmackDown confronted Damage CTRL backstage and had a stare down with IYO SKY. Following that Cargill tweeted, “Look at these kids. They need to get their ass beat for what they did tonight.

I wasn’t right…right? Someone like that shouldn’t hold a belt.” Which likely was a tease that she will be involved in the Damage CTRL storyline in favor of Bayley. Since that being said, she might help Bayley to win the WWE Women’s Championship by countering Damage CTRL’s number games.

Team up with Naomi & Bianca Belair

Jade Cargill could team up with Naomi and Bianca Belair and take on Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai in a Six-Woman Tag Team match at WrestleMania 40. Since no women’s matches other than the championship matches are booked, this could be a great addition to the pay-per-view.

Go for the Tag Team Championship

Jade Cargill might team up with either Naomi or Bianca Belair and challenge Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 40. Since Cargill is not tested as a singles wrestler in WWE, tag team matches with the experienced ones could help her in building her storyline.

Face Bianca Belair

Jade Cargill can call out a potential star who is on her level to have her first match, where Bianca Belair can show up and result in a match at WrestleMania 40. They had a quick face-off at Royal Rumble, showcasing their strength, which received a huge reaction from the WWE Universe. Since Belair is also not booked for WrestleMania yet, this could be a good clash for two power women.
