The Viper stuns his opponents with vicious RKOs!
‘The Viper’ Randy Orton has become a living legend with fans unanimously showering him with praise and cheers whenever he makes his entrance. Although fans have generally accepted Orton’s face side, they still lose their minds at the three most terrifying words in sports entertainment: the RKO.
Orton strikes his opponents with the finishing move, catching them offgaurd which gave birth to the phrase, “RKO outta nowhere”. A similar thing was experienced by the current Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena, on the April 21 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Cena was celebrating his win while blasting the crowd after defeating Cody Rhodes and creating history by becoming the one and only 17-time WWE World Champion at WrestleMania 41 (Sunday).
However, the segment abruptly ended when Orton showed up out of nowhere to strike the new Champion with a vicious RKO. The Viper then posed with the title, signalling his intentions in front of fans. The two stars are now set to battle at Backlash 2025.

Randy Orton has hit a total of 45 RKOs on John Cena
John Cena defended the title for the first time against a familiar foe in Randy Orton on May 10 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Orton was aiming to win his 15th World title to inch closer to Cena’s record of 17th.
The storyline saw the two stars revive their iconic feud, with a major difference: Orton wasn’t the bad guy anymore; Cena was, something which no one back then could have predicted, given their character arc at that time.
Ahead of the Premium Live Event, to build hype, the Stamford-based promotion uploaded a video on their YouTube channel, recapping all the RKOs that Orton has landed on Cena.
The Viper has dropped his career-long rival with an RKO in 45 televised instances. With the four recent ones coming during their main event title clash at Backlash 2025.
