WWE is going global with WrestleMania in 2027.
Uncertainty continues to surround whether WWE Crown Jewel 2026 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as planned because of security issues related to recent attacks in the region. WWE continues advertising the Premium Live Event (PLE) for November 7 without an official notice about venue changes yet.
While there are doubts about whether WWE Crown Jewel 2026 will take place or not, WWE’s plans for its future Saudi Arabia landmark events are still under consideration.
WrestleMania 43 is set to emanate from Riyadh in April 2027, and it will be the first event of its kind outside North America. The collaboration between WWE and Saudi Arabia was announced in September 2025, and the event is expected to be included in Riyadh Season.

Saudi Arabia paying WWE a massive amount for the PLE
In addition, according to Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is said to have received $150 million in order to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. It is about three times the amount of money WWE gets from its usual PLE events in the Kingdom, which is around $55 million.
Meltzer’s latest update, however, goes against an early prediction, where WWE was expected to earn roughly $100 million from this WrestleMania. In an update about this WrestleMania, Meltzer is said to have stated that what he learned suggested that the amount could be as high as $150 million, whereas the sources in Saudi Arabia indicated the amount could be more than $100 million.
It is important to note that the monetary details are nothing but reported numbers and do not represent any official contracts between the two sides.
It shows the magnitude of the collaboration between WWE and Saudi Arabia, which started in 2018 and has already delivered several huge events to the country, including Crown Jewel, Royal Rumble, and Night of Champions. WrestleMania is the main annual event of WWE, and hosting it means an important upgrade of the collaboration.
Why is WrestleMania 43 such a significant deal for Saudi Arabia?
In addition, WrestleMania is not just a two-day professional wrestling event; it is an event that usually runs for a whole week, with a variety of events such as fan activities, television appearances, NXT events, and community programs. WWE has said previously that fans from more than 60 nations participate in WrestleMania, which makes it possible for the city hosting WrestleMania to make money through foreign visitors.
The issue of money is especially vital in light of uncertainties surrounding big events in the area because, despite Crown Jewel being advertised for Riyadh in November, the WrestleMania 43 price makes the business relationship between WWE and Saudi Arabia even more complex.
