Indie wrestler shares incredible story regarding WWE star Roman Reigns from back in the day

While we all have our own opinions on the character known as Roman Reigns, there is no disputing that the guy behind the gimmick deserves to be appreciated for all of his efforts over time.

He deserves even more respect because he has done so despite living with his sickness for the previous 11 years without ever acknowledging his difficulties, and a narrative from an independent wrestler just adds to that sense.

Connor Braxton, an indie wrestler, recently posted a hilarious anecdote about Reigns on Twitter after the Big Dog vacated the Universal Championship on Raw.

Braxton, who trained at Seth Rollins and Marek Brave’s Black And Brave Wrestling Academy in Moline, Illinois, recalls graduating from the wrestling school and being only days away from his first match.

However, he lacked wrestling boots and was low on funds. So he asked Rollins if he knew someone who was seeking to sell an old pair, and Seth contacted Roman.

What did Roman Reigns say to Connor Braxton?

Connor Braxton about the incident said, “I asked how much he was looking to get for the pair, and he said he would ask Roman and see. Almost immediately, he responded and said, ‘Roman asked if you were a good brother, and said you can have them. He said just make sure you pass on the favor to someone else for the good of the wrestling business.’”

This is our beloved “Tribal Chief” who keeps helping stars inside and outside the ring. Roman might not like to take the credit but he deserves all the love fans have for him. From getting into remission from Leukemia to becoming “The Tribal Chief” and then taking WWE to new heights the company never thought was what he gave. So, Roman Reigns is a giver.

Roman Reigns has cemented his reputation as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time. In 2024, Roman Reigns was observed at the Royal Rumble assisting a Make-A-Wish child.

The Head of The Table defended his WWE Universal Championship against Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Unsurprisingly, he won the match as well.

Roman Reign is one of the greatest heels in the industry today. He occasionally breaks character while meeting and welcoming admirers, particularly children.

Roman Reigns was seen with a Make-A-Wish child during the 2024 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. A backstage video recorded the event, showing Reigns with the toddler gripping his shoulder as he broke character yet again for a child.
