The Young OG suffered a defeat on Raw.

In his ongoing feud with Los Americanos, Je’Von Evans battled El Grande Americano in singles action on the January 19, 2026, episode of Monday Night Raw. The show was the final stop on the European tour ahead of the Royal Rumble PLE and emanated from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

After back-to-back wins over Rayo and Bravo Americano, Evans locked horns with El Grande in the third match of the show. The match continued as usual, with Evans taking down Americano ahead of the commercial break.

However, after the commercials, the match ended abruptly, and El Grande Americano was announced the winner as the Young OG was unable to continue. Evans was assisted backstage by WWE officials. While he could walk unassisted, commentary suggested he might have injured his shoulder or chest.

Je’Von Evans left the show to travel with the roster

Amid concerns from fans, a report from PWInsider has provided much-needed clarity on the Young OG’s condition.

Per the report, Evans is said to be doing fine. While there were no signs of a serious injury, there was some concern about a possible concussion. He was examined backstage by WWE’s medical team following the incident.

Evans was cleared to leave with the rest of the roster, which is a strong sign that the situation isn’t serious.  and left the show with the roster. It doesn’t appear he suffered a concussion, though that hasn’t been confirmed.

The Young OG was recently promoted to the main roster and quickly gained strong fan support thanks to his in-ring talent. With his career just getting started, this incident could have been a serious setback, but as per the report, it appears Evans may avoid missing any significant time.
