The 10/25 episode of SmackDown will air live from the Barclays Center
WWE is ready for the October 25, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown that will be aired live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA. This is the final episode of the blue brand for this month.
The 10/25 episode will feature many WWE stars including Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Bianca Belair, and many more.
The promotion this week is expected to deliver major storyline progression to build up matches for the Crown Jewel 2024 PLE in November. There are two highly anticipated storylines in this week’s episode of the Blue brand.
The Bloodline saga and Randy Orton’s next step after Nick Aldis rejected his plea to fight Kevin Owens are the two major storylines that could unfold this week.

Randy Orton might attempt a hostile takeover of SmackDown
In tonight’s episode, The Viper might attempt to approach higher authorities after getting his plea rejected earlier by General Manager Nick Aldis. Orton’s statement that he knows who to talk to on last week’s episode signals a potential confrontation between him and WWE’s top brass Triple H.
Orton can also attempt a hostile takeover of SmackDown to force the guys at the top to agree to his demands. There have been similar instances in the past of such hostile takeovers. The history between Triple H and Orton also makes this potential confrontation captivating for the audiences.
WWE might bring SmackDown vs Raw for Survivor Series
In the past, the WWE has taken on the theme of direct competition between the Raw and SmackDown brands for brand supremacy at Survivor Series. With the potential of five stars’s appearance on the Blue brand, there is a possibility that the promotion might be planning to bring that theme back.

The theme was an immense success among fans as they got to see their favorite stars from both brands competing with each other. The buildup for these matches was also intense with each brand attempting a hostile takeover, to build the storyline for the PLE.
The event also became a genesis for what became the theme of brand supremacy between the two brands. As mentioned earlier, The potential appearance of the five stars might be a good opportunity for the company to bring back the Raw vs SmackDown theme.
