Brock Lesnar was referenced twice on this week’s RAW

‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar has been out of action since his last fight at SummerSlam 2023. Lesnar suffered a loss at the hands of Cody Rhodes in his last outing.

On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW references were made regarding The Beast Incarnate. These references fueled fans’ speculations about Lesnar’s return.

Lesnar is one of the most prolific combat sports athletes and is the only person to have won championships in four different combat sports.

Lesnar has won multiple WWE championships and has competed in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in his early career. He won the NCAA Division I national championship in 2000.

Apart from wrestling Lesnar also has the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) Heavyweight Title to his name. He is among the most successful pro wrestlers that transitioned into MMA. Lesnar achieved the title in his third fight with the organization.

Brock Lesnar was scheduled to return in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble

There were two references made during the show regarding Lesnar. The first one was made by Seth Rollins while the other was made by the current WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes.

These references primarily included The former WWE and UFC Champion’s nicknames. In a segment with RAW’s General Manager Adam Pearce, Rollins referred to himself as ‘The Beast Slayer’.

The RAW General Manager approached Rollins about a match with Bronson Reed. Pierce advised Seth to make a wise decision about facing Reed and take his multiple injuries into consideration.

Responding to Pearce, Rollins highlighted his accomplishments in the ring and reminded Pearce that he was still at the top of the game. During this interaction, Seth mentioned that he had ‘slayed beasts’ and ‘conquered Kings’ and now it was time for monsters.

The second reference was made by WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes while he was interacting with his next opponent at Crown Jewel. Rhodes is scheduled to face the WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther at Crown Jewel.

The Champion vs Champion fight will be for the brand-new Crown Jewel Championship on November 2, 2024, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

During the in-ring verbal confrontation on Monday Night RAW, Rhodes reminded Gunther of his accomplishments in the WWE. He also reminded the WWE Heavyweight Champion that he had already slain a frightening beast.

Rhodes’ reference was regarding his win over The Beast Incarnate. These references have created a huge buzz among fans of the return of Lesnar.

While the mentions don’t confirm Lesnar’s return to action it raises the possibility of his comeback to the WWE after a long break from action. It remains to be seen if the WWE drops more hints like these regarding Lesnar’s return.
