Damian Priest has been hinting at a babyface turn in recent times

Damian Priest is one of the most dominant and powerful professional wrestlers, who has had a pretty impressive run since his debut. He has been playing an important role in the Judgment Day stable as a heel and is one of the pillars of the faction.

Priest is one of the successful stars, who held the NXT North American Championship, United States Championship, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship, 2023 Money in the Bank winner and the World Heavyweight Championship.

Priest started as a babyface in the WWE main roster, however got the spotlight as a heel joining the Judgment Day. However, it seems like his current World Heavyweight championship reign has greatly changed his character, potentially leading to a huge face turn.

Damian Priest’s face turn

Damian Priest has been hinting at turning into a babyface in recent times. Priest has been handling business alone, he didn’t want the Judgment Day members to get involved in his feud. Priest has been standing against other members of the Judgment Day, when it comes to Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan’s angle, staying loyal to Rhea Ripley.

Priest also has been voluntarily offering title shots to potential WWE Superstars as a gentleman’s agreement. Priest offered the title shot to Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle and Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. In recent times the face turn has been heavily teased and here are some instances.

At Raw’s Money in the Bank fallout episode, Seth Rollins came to thank Priest for offering him a title shot and for keeping Judgment Day away from the match. Rollins said that as a part of their agreement, he won’t be challenging for the title. However, Priest to show respect lifted off the mutual agreement and gave Rollins another title shot after he beat Gunther at SummerSlam.

Another instance also featured in the recent house show in Mexico, where Priest helped Jey Uso to stand after their match and did the Yeet gesture to show respect to Jey. All these seem like we could get the babyface version of Damian Priest back sooner than expected.
