Dijak’s current WWE contract is set to expire on June 28, 2024.
Dijak is one of the talented Superstar, who has been working for WWE since 2017. He had a major run in the NXT brand and delivered some of the toughest fights. Throughout his run, he is known under different names such as Dominik Dijakovic, T-Bar and Dijak. He is known for his time in the main roster as T-Bar as the member of Retribution.
He recently got drafted to WWE’s Raw brand, however haven’t made an appearance. The 37-year-old has now revealed his WWE departure. Here we take a look at what he said on his departure and the possibility of him joining WWE’s rival, AEW.
Dijak announces his WWE departure
Dijak on his X/Twitter posted a picture of a letter revealing his WWE departure following the frustration with the company. His letter revealed that WWE didn’t reach him for the contract negotiations. He wrote his status saying that his contract expires on June 28, 2024 and he looks to leave WWE and prove himself to the world, creating opportunity for himself. He also gave his email id for bookings.
Dijak’s Letter says,
“Here’s the truth,
WWE never negotiated with me. We attempted to negotiate and they stonewalled us. They never made me a single offer, then they informed me they would not renew my contract at the eleventh hour. 2 months ago I was in one of the best matches in NXT history, and a top match of Wrestlemania weekend. On that day, a top executive in WWE told me I was ‘crushing it.’ I was slated to feud for the NXT title but I got called up to RAW instead. I consistently outperformed everyone’s expectations, especially throughout 2023 and early 2024.
I never complained about anything or was difficult to work with. I tirelessly pitched ideas to anyone who would listen, as recently as the day before I was notified. I never once missed a booking, and I was injured 1 time in 7 years for 3 months. I’m thankful, disappointed, but also excited. This has lit a fire under me to relentlessly prove myself to the world. All I ever wanted was a fair shot and now I have the opportunity to go out and take it. That’s enough talk, now it’s time to Do or Dijak.
My last day under a WWE contract is June 28, 2024.Bookings/Interviews: [email protected]
Get ready to Feast Your Fucking Eyes.

Will Dijak joining AEW?
As Dijak revealed that he is a free agent from June 28, there are a number of possibilities that he could move to AEW or other major promotions like TNA Wrestling. Since AEW has been having the sights on the free agency market, it would be no surprise if he becomes Elite, bound to AEW.
