The real-life Bloodline member Hikuleo has left New Japan Pro-Wrestling

There has been an intriguing update regarding a rumored new member of WWE’s Bloodline faction following today’s NJPW Dominion show. The Bloodline faction is one of WWE’s most compelling storylines and it has continued to evolve in recent months.

Solo Sikoa has taken on the role of ‘Head of the Table,’ a position previously held by Roman Reigns. This change has coincided with the WWE debuts of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Both Tama and Tonga are the sons of wrestling legend Haku, and their arrival has added significant depth to The Bloodline.

However, they aren’t the only sons of Haku currently making waves in the wrestling world. NJPW star Hikuleo is also son of Haku and is another potential addition to this dominant faction.

Hikuleo NJPW contract expires

Earlier this year, it was reported that Hikuleo’s contract with NJPW was set to run until June. This timeline has fueled speculation about his future, particularly in WWE. Today’s NJPW Dominion show has only intensified these rumors. Hikuleo and his partner El Phantasmo were the first team eliminated in the IWGP World Tag Team and NJPW STRONG Tag Team winners-take-all match, eventually won by TMDK.

Following the match, Hikuleo had a poignant moment which has the fans and industry insiders buzzing. He hugged El Phantasmo and Jado before walking out of the press conference, a gesture that many interpret as a farewell. This has led to increased speculation that today could have been Hikuleo’s final match in NJPW.

WWE has shown interest in Hikuleo since the beginning of 2023

The possibility of Hikuleo joining WWE is not a new rumor. WWE has reportedly been interested in Hikuleo since last January, during an unofficial hiring freeze. With his NJPW contract nearing its end, the timing could be perfect for Hikuleo to make the jump to WWE. This move would reunite him with his brothers, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa, and potentially strengthen The Bloodline faction.

WWE has a history of capitalizing on family legacies in wrestling, and The Bloodline storyline has been a testament to that. The inclusion of Hikuleo could provide a fresh dynamic to the faction, potentially leading to intriguing storylines and matchups. Hikuleo’s impressive physical stature and in-ring prowess make him a valuable asset to any wrestling promotion, and WWE’s interest in him underscores his potential.

While Hikuleo’s future remains uncertain, the recent developments at NJPW Dominion have certainly added fuel to the fire. If he does make the transition to WWE, it will be interesting to see how he fits into The Bloodline and what impact he will have on the faction’s storyline.
