Jey Uso has been pulled from the men’s Elimination Chamber match.

After qualifying in the final Elimination Chamber Qualifying match on this week’s episode of Raw, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso has been pulled from the scheduled match. The 16th edition of the  Elimination Chamber event is set to air live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The Chamber event will feature the two men’s and women’s Chamber matches, with the winner securing the WrestleMania spot against the World Champion, remaining after the Royal Rumble announce their picks.

Jey was pulled from the match after a backstage attack before SmackDown, as he was carried out in an Ambulance, accompanied by Jacob Fatu and multiple other stars. Although WWE didn’t reveal specifics about the attack, it appeared that Jey had been thrown through some sort of structure.

Is Jey Uso really injured?

Before answering the question of Jey’s injury, we have to recap this week’s Raw, where Jey bagged the win, but he wasn’t supposed to win. Bronson Reed was planned to win the final Qualifying match. However, Reed suffered an injury during the match, forcing WWE to change the outcome on the fly.

Logan Paul and the Masked Man were also set to get involved in the match, but Reed’s injury caused changes, one of which was Jey pinning “Original” El Grande Americano to secure the win.

The outcome wasn’t predetermined, as the lead-up to WrestleMania impacts numerous creative plans. With ticket sales underperforming and the card still undergoing significant changes, WWE likely wanted to avoid another major creative pivot, which may have influenced their decision to run the angle involving the attack on Jey.

Later in the show last Friday, Jacob Fatu battled Logan Paul in the main event for the empty spot in the Chamber match. Logan was able to unmask the Masked Man and defeat Fatu with the help of Drew McIntyre. This is another indication of Jey’s angle being a work for storyline purposes, as WWE likely has something big planned on the Road to WrestleMania, including the Vision.

Is Jey Uso really injured?

No, Jey Uso’s injury angle was likely done for storyline purposes, and insert Logan Paul into the match after his Vision stablemate, Bronson Reed, who was set to enter the match originally, suffered an injury.

When and where will Elimination Chamber take place?

The 16th Elimination Chamber event will air live on February 28 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
