Jimmy Uso has been away from WWE for over five months!
On the April 12, 2024, episode of SmackDown, on the WrestleMania fallout show, Jimmy Uso became the first victim to Solo Sikoa, who punished Jimmy with the assist from debuting Tama Tonga and kicked him out of the faction.
Following the brutal attack, Jimmy was not seen then, but it was announced that Jimmy Uso suffered a major injury after the assault and will be out from WWE TV for an indefinite time.
After Jimmy got kicked out of the Bloodline, Solo formed a new Bloodline faction debuting new members into the faction, making himself the Tribal Chief.
As Roman Reigns made his return, WWE fans have been wondering when Jimmy Uso will return. At this stage, Rikishi’s post created a buzz and the backstage reports reveal true status.
Jimmy Uso’s status ahead of rumors
Rikishi in his recent post on X (fka Twitter) posted a video of Jimmy Uso with the caption praying to God to give strength & health to Jimmy Uso. Rikishi wrote, “Dear GOD for strength & health to continue #JimmyUso #wwe #Bloodline #Anoai #Fatu Stay prayed for my boy #JonathanFatu”
This kick-started a big rumor that Jimmy could be injured and everyone wondered what happened to Jimmy. At this stage, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select did a fact check on Jimmy’s status upon rumors and came out with a report revealing that he has spoken with sources within WWE and heard that Jimmy is doing fine and hasn’t got any further context beyond it.
Sean Ross Sapp reported, “In following up with people in WWE, they say that they’ve spoken to Jimmy Uso, who says he’s fine. I don’t have any further context beyond that.”
Two weeks ago Rikishi himself on Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast revealed that Jimmy is good and is ready to make his return to WWE very soon.
Rikishi said, “Jimmy’s doing fine. I think at any given moment, hopefully, Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves. I’m sure he misses the fans and I’m sure you all miss Jimmy. He’s doing great. He’s got some time to be able to rest the body, rest the mind, and he’s ready to go, so, hopefully, we’re able to see Jimmy soon.”
It is unknown why Rikishi posted the post all of a sudden, and the online fans wanted Rikishi to stay off his phone to avoid kick-starting rumors.
