Kevin Owens suffers apparent knee issue in Charleston
Kevin Owens appears to have suffered another injury during a WWE live event in Charleston, raising concerns just weeks after the former champion returned from a lengthy absence.
Owens was competing against The Miz when he appeared to hurt his knee following a bad landing early in the match. The issue was serious enough that both Miz and referee Charles Robinson adjusted their actions to give Owens time to assess the situation.
Robinson even climbed onto the ropes and shouted toward Owens during the unusual sequence, adding a lighter moment while the WWE star tried to determine whether he could continue.
Despite visibly struggling, Owens managed to get back to his feet and finish the contest. He hit The Miz with a Stunner and secured the victory, showing that he was determined to complete the match despite the apparent injury.
Kevin Owens needed help getting backstage

The concern increased after the match. While Danhausen made his way to the ring and interacted with The Miz, Owens rolled out of the ring and appeared to be limping heavily.
Owens then called for an official, who helped him make his way backstage. The Prizefighter continued to favor the injured knee throughout the walk, although the severity of the problem remains unknown.
There has been no confirmed diagnosis or indication of how much time, if any, Owens could miss. At this stage, the incident should therefore be treated as an apparent injury rather than a confirmed long-term setback.
Another setback would be a major blow
The timing makes the situation particularly concerning for Owens. He only recently returned to WWE after being sidelined for approximately a year and a half.
His previous absence began after he revealed ahead of WrestleMania 41 that he was dealing with a neck injury. That issue forced him to step away from competition and undergo an extended recovery.
Owens eventually made his return as one of the surprise contenders at SummerSlam, putting him back into the mix around WWE’s main-event scene and championship picture.
Another significant injury would therefore be particularly frustrating for The Prizefighter, who had only just completed his comeback. For now, fans will have to wait for an official update before knowing whether the knee problem will affect his WWE schedule.
