Shaun Edward Ricker aka LA Knight, the current WWE US Champion, is an American professional wrestler who works for WWE under the SmackDown brand. LA Knight began his wrestling career on the independent circuits before progressing to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and then NXT’s developmental region, where he was known as Slate Randall.

He began his wrestling career with Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CW) in 2010 and later signed with WWE’s developmental territory NXT in 2013 as Slate Randall. Released in 2014, he joined TNA Wrestling in 2015 as Eli Drake, achieving success as a TNA World Champion and tag team champion.

After leaving Impact in 2019, he joined NWA, becoming a tag champion with James Storm. Returning to WWE in 2021 as LA Knight, he won the Million Dollar Championship in NXT before moving to the main roster in 2022. Knight gained massive fan support for his promos and charisma, leading to a renewed push.

LA Knight is currently in a relationship with Michelle Yavulla

LA Knight is in a long-term relationship with his lady love, Michelle Yavulla. According to LA Knight’s social media posts, they’ve been together since 2018.

Netizens have claimed the couple is married, although neither has verified the news. Last year, when Knight wished Michelle a ‘Happy Anniversary’ on Instagram, it generated controversy about whether the pair were married. LA Knight even responded on X, saying that it was nothing but rumors:

“If anybody finds pictures from the wedding I’m hearing I was part of this week, I’m excited to see them! I must have blacked out, because I don’t remember any of it. Please send.” LA Knight wrote.

For all we know, LA Knight is unmarried. He is now in a relationship with his long-time girlfriend Michelle Yavulla. Michelle is a fitness fanatic who has participated in several female bodybuilding competitions in the past.

According to pics from her Instagram feed, she finished fifth in the Baltimore Gladiator championship in 2016. Her Instagram page contains photos of her gym workouts and fitness regimens. Her writings make it clear that she is an adventurer who enjoys exploring with her boyfriend. Michelle is also a dog parent to her pups, and she often posts about them on social media.
