The Megastar may be battling more than just bad luck heading into WrestleMania 42.

LA Knight has been one of the most popular superstars on Monday Night Raw for months, but troubling new information has emerged suggesting that The Megastar could be dealing with a hidden injury, one that went completely unnoticed during this week’s episode of Raw, and one that could potentially threaten his WWE WrestleMania 42 spot.

During the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, LA Knight got involved in the match between The Usos and The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Knight came out of nowhere, grabbed the brass knuckles from Paul, and handed them to Jey Uso. However, despite his involvement in the action, he could be dealing with a secret injury that neither the commentary team nor anyone else on the broadcast addressed during the show.

After Raw went off the air, a fan uploaded a screenshot of LA Knight’s elbow, and it appeared the star was dealing with olecranon bursitis, a condition that causes pain and swelling at the tip of the elbow. This could be a similar injury to the one John Cena dealt with in 2013, and it could take four to six months to fully heal.

If accurate, that timeline would rule LA Knight out of WrestleMania 42 entirely. But nothing has been confirmed so far and it could just end up being a fan theory and a far reach.

Even before the injury revelation, Knight’s WrestleMania 42 fate appeared uncertain, with his place on the card potentially depending entirely on another superstar’s injury status. Knight had previously admitted he didn’t even know his WrestleMania plans yet, and the uncertainty may come down to whether Bron Breakker is cleared in time.

WrestleVotes revealed that if WWE moves forward with Brock Lesnar facing Seth Rollins and The Vision taking on The Usos, LA Knight could end up being the odd man out and miss WrestleMania 42 entirely, a surprising outcome for one of the top merchandise sellers on the roster.

What has LA Knight said about his WrestleMania status?

In a recent interview, LA Knight admitted he still has no idea what his WrestleMania direction is, saying: “I don’t even know what to expect from me at WrestleMania because I have no idea where my direction is, what I’m doing yet.”

Despite the uncertainty, Knight made one thing clear that regardless of what happens, he will deliver: “If it’s your first time ever seeing me, you remember me… And the bottom line is I’m going to leave you walking away from that place saying, LA Knight, yeah.”

What injury is LA Knight reportedly dealing with?

LA Knight is reportedly suffering from olecranon bursitis, a condition that causes pain and swelling at the tip of the elbow. The injury went unnoticed during WWE Raw, with neither the commentary team nor anyone in the broadcast addressing it.

Will LA Knight miss WrestleMania 42?

If the olecranon bursitis injury is confirmed and requires full treatment, it could take four to six months to heal, which would mean LA Knight misses WrestleMania 42. However, WWE has not made any official announcement regarding his status.

Where is WrestleMania 42 taking place?

WrestleMania 42 will take place as a two-night event on April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
