The former IC Champion was once again spotted with Austin Theory.
Former Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri, amid her prolonged absence from in-ring action, was spotted ringside to support her Alpha Academy stablemate Otis, who answered the Oba Femi Open Challenge.
However, what sparked fans’ interest was when Dupri was spotted backstage with Austin Theory. This moment took place during Sol Ruca’s walk-in shot, where the two were spotted chatting in the background.
The two have been frequently spotted in backstage segments, with many speculating that WWE is slowly developing a storyline between the two, which might lead to Dupri joining the Vision faction and aligning with Paul Heyman.
The easter egg was first teased in early 2026, sparking fans’ interest, and despite sporadic appearances recently, the tease has once again kept fans talking.
Should Maxxine Dupri align with Paul Heyman?

Maxxine Dupri is currently a part of the Alpha Academy alongside Otis and Akira Tozawa. She was involved in a title feud with Becky Lynch in early 2026, with both women battling each other for the Women’s Intercontinental title.
After the feud, Dupri transitioned into a feud with her former mentor, Natalya (Nattie), who turned on her, costing her the title against Lynch. However, WWE quickly lost interest in the storyline and quietly dropped it, spoiling all the momentum Dupri had built in her feud with Lynch.
It also didn’t help her case as she was knocked out cold in her second clash with Nattie, while the first ended in a double count-out, and in the third and final one, Nattie submitted Dupri.
Since the last match in March, Dupri has not participated in any match on the Raw brand, let alone participated in storylines. This is precisely the reason she should join the Vision. With guidance from Paul Heyman, Dupri can continue her growth as a pro wrestler and even compete in main-event feuds with top names.
The addition of Dupri would also make the Vision more relevant, giving the faction more angles to work. It would also make sure that Dupri is constantly present and visible in WWE programming. Obviously, aligning with the Vision means turning heel, and it would give her a chance to showcase her range.
After all, Durpi began her career on the main roster as a heel, as the Director of Talent for the Maximum Male Models stable. Heyman will also be able to secure major opportunities for Dupri and push her into the main event scene.
Is Maxxine Dupri joining The Vision?
There is currently no official confirmation that Maxxine Dupri is joining The Vision. However, recent on-screen teases involving Austin Theory have fueled speculation about a possible alignment.
What was Maxxine Dupri’s last televised match?
Dupri last competed on WWE Raw in a featured singles match against Natalya (Nattie) during the March 16 show.
