Is The Rock returning to WWE TV soon? Exploring the possibilities

The Rock will appear on Pat McAfee’s show
The Rock’s absence from WrestleMania 41 and WWE TV has become one of the most talked-about letdowns in recent memory.
After being heavily involved in the build-up to Elimination Chamber, including what many believe was his influence behind John Cena’s shocking heel turn & fans expected a massive payoff on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All’.
But when WrestleMania 41 rolled around, “The Final Boss” was nowhere to be found. No tease. No mention. No electrifying appearance. Nothing. And to make matters worse, WWE barely addressed his absence in the aftermath, as if The Rock had never been part of the storyline.
Instead, fans were left with Travis Scott showing up during the WrestleMania main event, which, although cool, wasn’t the return we were all anticipating.
When Cena won his 17th World Title, becoming the most decorated world champion in WWE history, The Rock still didn’t appear.
The commentary barely mentioned him. This was after he had teased a major power play and even gestured the infamous neck slash directed at Cody Rhodes weeks prior. It was a bizarre, creative turn or lack of creative input and fans made their voices heard on social media, with “#NoRock” trending on X.
However, there might be some light at the end of the tunnel. According to Boston Connor from The Pat McAfee Show, The Rock is set to appear on Tuesday’s episode.
While this hasn’t been confirmed by WWE themselves, the timing couldn’t be more suspicious, especially with Gunther attacking Pat McAfee on RAW. Could this set the stage for The Rock’s next WWE chapter?
John Cena confirmed for this week’s SmackDown
That’s not all, this week’s SmackDown is shaping up to be explosive, as John Cena and Cody Rhodes are both confirmed to appear on the show. After their match at WrestleMania 41 and the looming cloud of The Rock’s absence, the stage could be set for a massive confrontation or reveal.
Is this where The Rock finally resurfaces? Will he meet Cena? Will Cody get to face ‘The Final Boss’? Or will The Rock continue to manipulate from the shadows? Either way, the WWE Universe will be watching closely.
Let’s just hope The Great One doesn’t ghost us again. Till now, WWE hasn’t provided any update on whether The Rock would appear on WWE TV or not, but if any update comes, we will update the story.
