The Rock not appearing at WM 41 has angered the WWE universe

When John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber, shortly after winning a shot at Cody Rhodes and the WWE title in the main event of WrestleMania 41, it appeared to be at The Rock’s request. It was shortly after Rhodes declined his invitation to be his champion that The Final Boss performed the neck slash en route to the great turn.

And then he vanished. Not only that, but he received little attention in any of the subsequent promotions. They did a lousy job of explaining “The Great One’s” role. By the time the bell rang at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, we had no idea Rocky would be there.

When Travis Scott was announced as the match’s big run-in, it became evident that The Rock would not be making an appearance. Even after John Cena won the championship for the record-breaking 17th time, he did not appear and was barely acknowledged during commentary.

“No Rock” soon gained traction on Twitter X. Fans are unhappy, disappointed and angry that he did not appear, even though Stone Cold Steve Austin was present to proclaim his participation. It certainly seemed like a squandered opportunity.

We are always willing to sit back and enjoy the journey he is taking us on, but it is much more difficult to do when he does not even show up.

Here’s what fans had to say on X about The Rock

The second night’s main event saw Cody Rhodes defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena, in a storyline inspired by The Rock.

Rock wanted Cody Rhodes to sell his soul and become his personal champion, and when Rhodes refused, Cena stepped in, teaming up with Rock and Travis Scott to assault Rhodes three-on-one at Elimination Chamber in March.

The Rock hasn’t appeared since then, although Rhodes and Cena have addressed him several times in the build-up. However, fans are unhappy since he did not turn up. What do you think of WWE’s choice to make John Cena a heel?
