The Samoan Werewolf has been one of the top rising stars in the WWE
‘The Samoan Werewolf’ Jacob Fatu arrived in the WWE on the June 21, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Fatu debuted as the enforcer of Solo Sikoa and attacked Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes to join Sikoa’s Bloodline as its newest member.
Since his debut, Fatu has been terrorizing the entire division while professing his love for his tribal chief, Solo Sikoa. Fatu made his in-ring debut at the Money in the Bank PLE where he took part in a six-man tag team match alongside Sikoa and Tama Tonga defeating the team of Rhodes, Orton, and Owens.
Fatu captured his first WWE title in August when he along with fellow Bloodline member Tama Tonga defeated DIY (Tomasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) to win the WWE Tag Team titles. However, he later relinquished one-half of the titles to Tonga Loa and became the infamous enforcer of Sikoa.
Fatu slowly took over fans despite being a heel as he showcased his dominance and brute strength taking down stars with ease. Fatu’s first loss in the promotion came in a tag match with Sikoa at the Bad Blood 2024 PLE against Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
Following Sikoa’s loss in the Raw Netflix debut episode on January 6, 2025, against Roman Reigns which forced Solo’s hand to relinquish the Ula Fala, Fatu began a feud with fellow giant Braun Strowman.
This feud made Fatu even more popular than he already was as he showcased even more ruthlessness now that he was on his own. While Fatu started 2025 with a win alongside Sikoa and Tama Tonga, he shortly began teaming with Tama Tonga in Solo’s absence.
Fatu’s breakout performance came in a singles match against Braun Strowman at the January 25 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Jacob showcased sheer ruthlessness leaving Strowman bloodied and struggling for air as Fatu landed back-to-back moonsaults decimating the Monster among men.
