The Samoan Werewolf wreaked havoc as the Bloodline’s enforcer
‘The Samoan Werewolf’ Jacob Fatu arrived in the WWE in 2024 with a bang, instantly putting everyone on notice, he joined as Solo Sikoa’s enforcer as the Bloodline wreaked havoc on whoever that dared to stand in their way.
A part of the Anoaʻi family of professional wrestlers, Fatu is a one-time MLW National Openweight Champion and a one-time MLW World Heavyweight Champion, holding the record for the longest reign in the latter title’s history at 819 days.
In August 2024, Fatu, along with fellow Bloodline member Tama Tonga, defeated DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa) to capture his first WWE title as they became WWE Tag Team Champions, a title reign that took a backseat and Tonga Loa joined Tama for the rest of the title reign.
Following Sikoa’s loss to Roman Reigns in the tribal combat match, where he lost the sacred Ula Fala, Solo also lost control over the Bloodline and the faction effectively disbanded. Fatu then kicked off a feud with a fellow ‘monster among men,’ Braun Strowman.
On the January 25 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event, the two stars collided and the Samoan Werewolf truly broke through with his performance as despite being a heel he became a fan favorite as fans were cheering him on while he was landing crushing buckle bombs and moonsaults on Strowman.
The two stars met multiple times after that but their most recent meeting was in a last-man-standing match where the number one contender spot for the United States title was on the line. Fatu defeated Strowman to win the match and is now set to battle the US Champion.
Jacob is now set to battle LA Knight for the United States title at the 41st edition of WrestleMania PLE on April 19 in Las Vegas. Here we take a look at Fatu’s WrestleMania record including wins and his overall Mania record.
