Jey Uso has become one of the top stars since starting his singles run
‘Main Event’ Jey Uso kicked off his WWE career in 2010 alongside his brother Jimmy Uso, together known as The Usos the two quickly rose to prominence and solidified their status as one of the greatest tag teams in the Stamford-based promotion.
During their tag team run, the two brothers earned the distinction of holding the longest male tag team title reign in WWE history, with a record-setting 622 days during their fifth reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
Altogether, The Usos are eight-time tag team champions in WWE, having also captured the Raw Tag Team Championship three times. They also became the first team in WWE history to win both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships and the first to hold them at the same time as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
Additionally, Jey Uso has one more reign each as Raw Tag Team Champion and SmackDown Tag Team Champion, both alongside Cody Rhodes. Following a heel run alongside his brother in the Bloodline story featuring Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa among others, Jey kicked off his singles run in May 2023.
While the singles run pushed him into the mainstream with his ‘Main Event’ persona as fans joined him to ‘Yeet’ as he made his entrance every time. Jey captured his first singles career title after defeating Bron Breakker to become the Intercontinental Champion.
However, the title reign only lasted 28 days as he sucked back into the Bloodline saga as OG Bloodline battled Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.
In February 2025, Jey entered the men’s Royal Rumble match and surprised everyone as he eliminated John Cena and won the Rumble match. Jey defeated World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at WrestleMania 41.
