The 16-time champion John Cena appeared on The Simpsons Season 36 premiere!
John Cena is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time who has been in WWE for more than two decades. The GOAT has a great history with WWE and has been involved in some of the important and monumental events of the company.
Cena is the default face of the company throughout his run and has always been in a high-profile championship spotlight. Cena recently announced his retirement from WWE and is all set for a farewell tour next year. Ahead of his WWE appearance, the 16-time champ marks his first appearance in The Simpsons sitcom.
What is ‘The Simpsons’?
The Simpsons is one of the most popular animated sitcoms which has been one of the successful sitcoms created by Matt Groening for the Fox broadcasting company. The popular anime satire is one of the longest-running sitcoms, with the first season released in 1989. Over the years, a total of 35 sitcom seasons were released and ran successfully. The 36th season of the popular cartoon was officially released on September 29, 2024, on Fox and the season premiere is reported to be featured with the 16-time world champion John Cena. Here we take a look at Cena’s appearance in the anime.
John Cena on The Simpsons Season Premiere
Earlier this week, The Simpsons on their official X/Twitter account, posted an animated image of John Cena with a muscular body, smiling in a purple golf t-shirt, with the caption, “A big episode needs even bigger guest stars” to set the hype for the premiere.
On September 29, 2024, the 36th season of The Simpsons premiere episode named “Bart’s Birthday ” was released and the clipping of Cena’a appearance went viral on the internet. In the video clippings, the Comic Book Guy’s wife Kumiko was having labor pain. Comic Book Guy called a doctor and John Cena arrived in time. Cena claimed himself as a licensed midwife and registered themselves as the 16-time world champion. Cena said that he is in Springfield for the launch party of the THC energy drink. Cena then helped the woman to give birth to the woman and marked his cameo.

Well, Cena is not the first guy to appear on The Simpsons, Bret “The Hitman” Hart previously appeared on the sitcom in 1997.
