The G.O.A.T. will make his final PLE appearance in San Diego.
Ahead of his final PLE appearance at the 2025 edition, John Cena, in an impromptu match with Dominik Mysterio, captured the Intercontinental Championship. With the win, Cena became a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.
The retirement tour, which began at Raw’s Netflix debut in January, is now set to commence in December at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cena concluded his final Raw appearance on the November 17 show at Madison Square Garden.
During his final appearance, Cena was confronted by Dominik Mysterio, who asked for a title rematch. Cena, without hesitation, granted him the rematch, but Mysterio called for the rematch at the Survivor Series PLE, which Cena again accepted, setting the stage for the clash in John Cena’s final PLE appearance.
The 39th edition of Survivor Series took place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
