[WATCH] Kevin Owens hits back at WWE management for trying to 'silence him'

‘KO’ is trying to tell his side of the story

Following WWE’s recent PLE, Bad Blood, Kevin Owens attacked the WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes after the PLE went off the air. Owens attacked Rhodes in the parking lot after they were leaving the venue.

The friendship between Rhodes and Owens turned sour after Rhodes decided to team up with Roman Reigns for Bad Blood 2024. Owens and Reigns have had a long history of feuds.

On the next episode of SmackDown, Owens tried to tell his side of the story to the fans. However, he was interrupted as Rhodes walked into the arena to confront him. Before the situation got out of hand WWE security along with Randy Orton tried to manage the situation.

This made Owens even more angry and he attacked the WWE Legend and his fried Randy Orton backstage. Owens felt betrayed by Orton and Rhodes whom he considered his friend.

Kevin Owens has embraced his recent heel-turn

It looks like Owens is fed up with betrayals and is fully embracing his recent heel turn. Amid all the chaos Owens released a video urging the WWE to release the video he sent them explaining his side of the story.

Owens explained that he wanted to share his side of the story on the last episode of WWE SmackDown but was not allowed to do so by the promotion. He also stated that he sent a video to the WWE for it to be aired this week on RAW.

However, the video was never aired during the RAW telecast this week. Kevin also criticized the fans for jumping to conclusions without hearing his side of the story.

It seems as if Owens is fed up with this situation as he has issued an ultimatum to the WWE to air his video Friday night on SmackDown. If the WWE fails to do so he will himself release the video.

“Ever since Bad Blood, there’s been a lot of questions about why I did what I did to Cody. There has been a lot of judgment too, a lot of people judging me for what I did, and as much as I’d love to explain myself, give my side of the story, and speak my mind, WWE has not allowed me to do that.

They have done the opposite actually, they’ve tried to shut me up it seems because they won’t let come to SmackDown, They had plenty of time for Cody to talk but not for me. Look, the last thing I want to do is to do this on social media because I hate it.”

Owens concluded the video by also voicing his dislike for social media, “The last I want to do is to do this on social media because I hate it! So, I’m giving them until Friday, this Friday on SmackDown, to air my video so that people can hear what I have to say. If they don’t then I guess I’ll post it here.”

Kevin Owens very close to signing a new deal with WWE

The latest reports also suggest that the former WWE Champions is close to signing a new long-term deal with the company.
