Khel Now’s predictions for WWE SummerSlam 2024

The 2024 SummerSlam is the upcoming biggest Premium Live Event of WWE

The 2024 SummerSlam is the upcoming biggest premium live event hosted by WWE. This is the 37th annual edition of SummerSlam, which is scheduled to be held on August 3, 2024 from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, United States at 7 PM Eastern, 6 PM Central and 3 PM Pacific Time.

This is the second big five event of the company and the WWE has booked some of the interesting matches for the show. With less than two days to go for the show, here are Khel Now’s predictions for WWE SummerSlam 2024.

WWE SummerSlam 2024 Match Card

• United States Championship Match- Logan Paul (C) vs LA Knight
• WWE Women’s Championship Match- Bayley (C) vs Nia Jax
• Women’s World Championship Match- Liv Morgan (C) vs Rhea Ripley
• Intercontinental Championship Match- Sami Zayn (C) vs Bron Breakker
• CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre (Special Guest Referee- Seth Rollins)
• World Heavyweight Championship Match- Damian Priest (C) vs Gunther
• Undisputed WWE Championship Match- Cody Rhodes (C) vs Solo Sikoa

United States Championship Match- Logan Paul (C) vs LA Knight

This match is to be the showcase of a great fight between the two megastars. LA Knight is in desperate need to win his first singles championship in WWE, whereas Logan is fighting in front of his home crowd. There is a clear chance that Logan could use cheap tricks on Knight, however we are going with LA Knight.

Predicted Winner: LA Knight

WWE Women’s Championship Match- Bayley (C) vs Nia Jax

‘The Role Model’ Bayley has been having a great run with her WWE Women’s Championship run, however what stands in front of her is the ‘Irresistible Force’ Nia Jax. According to our prediction, Nia Jax will have the upper hand over Bayley, however when Bayley gets the upper hand, Tiffany Stratton will cash-in her Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

Predicted Winner: Tiffany Stratton (via MITB cash in)

Women’s World Championship Match- Liv Morgan (C) vs Rhea Ripley

According to our predictions, this could be one of the dramatic matches of the show. Dominik Mysterio could play a major role in this match. If the match goes clean, it will be Rhea Ripley, who will be winning the match. However, if Dom interferes, Liv Morgan is likely to take advantage of the situation to retain the title. Since Dom’s interference is highly expected, we are going with Liv Morgan.

Predicted Winner: Liv Morgan

Intercontinental Championship Match- Sami Zayn (C) vs Bron Breakker

Sami Zayn has proved that Bron Breakker is not invincible at Money in the Bank. However Breakker is on his mission to rewrite things. Although Sami is a dominant champ, we are going with Breakker this time.

Predicted Winner: Bron Breakker

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre (Special Guest Referee- Seth Rollins)

This is one of the most anticipated matches of the show with two big egos colliding and the third big ego being the referee for the match. Both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are eagerly waiting to tear each other down and Rollins could spice up things between them.

As per predictions, the match could see a finish similar to the 1997 SummerSlam, where Seth Rollins could try to attack Punk with the chair, but end up attacking Drew McIntyre. This could help Punk get the win.

World Heavyweight Championship Match- Damian Priest (C) vs Gunther

Damian Priest & Gunther are set to fight for the World Heavyweight Championship. This has been the major title feud of the red brand featured at the SummerSlam PLE. As per predictions, Gunther will be crowned as the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Predicted Winner: Damian Priest

Undisputed WWE Championship Match- Cody Rhodes (C) vs Solo Sikoa

The Undisputed WWE Championship is set to main event this year’s SummerSlam PLE. Solo Sikoa with The new Bloodline in his corner, is being more dangerous than ever before. Sikoa has already pinned Cody Rhodes at the Money in the Bank PLE, which makes him a strong contender. Cody on the other hand is trying to retain the championship to have his first world title reign for a long time.

According to predictions, the match could feature a number of interferences, including The Bloodline, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and the returning Roman Reigns & Jimmy Uso. However, Cody is expected to win the match and retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
