7. Royal Rumble matches
A major highlight that will be etched in Kofi Kingston’s WWE career would be the amazing stunts and feats he has pulled off in the Royal Rumble matches for many years. From using a chair as a hoop to return to the apron, walking on his hands to go in the ring, or being saved from a fall to the outside of the ring by his New Day members, Kingston’s involvement in the Royal Rumble matches will forever be remembered.
6. Cesaro (2015)
One of the biggest hidden gems in the career of Kofi Kingston has to be his match against Cesaro on an edition of Main Event in 2013. Kingston put up his WWE United States Championship against The Swiss Superman, with the duo producing a 20-minute-long stellar showdown, showcasing exceptional chemistry and spectacular in-ring moves, which led to Kofi retaining his title over Cesaro.
5. Elimination Chamber (2019)
The year 2019 saw a massive rise in popularity for Kofi Kingston saw himself clinching a spot in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. Outlasting the entire field, he made it to the final two alongside then-champion, Daniel Bryan and displayed one of the best in-ring performances of his career, despite coming up short due to a leap fall from the pod.
4. Triple Threat Ladder Match (WWE TLC 2015)
The 2015 edition of the WWE TLC event saw a triple threat match between The New Day, The Usos and Lucha Dragons for the WWE tag team championships. Kingston alongside Big E took part in the match that saw breath-taking moves, shocking moments and the infamous Salida del Sol from atop a ladder spot by Kalisto. At the end of the spectacular and physically battering match, Kingston and Big E were the ones to emerge victorious.
3. Randy Orton (2019)
Kofi Kingston had an intense rivalry with Randy Orton during his early days in WWE. Years later, Kingston defended the WWE Championship against The Viper at WWE SummerSlam 2019. The match proved to be an absolute hit that saw Kofi put down Orton and solidified his credibility as WWE Champion even more.
2. Seth Rollins (2019)
On the RAW after WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins who defeated Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE Universal Champion, met Kofi Kingston, who beat Daniel Bryan to win his first WWE Championship. As a special post-Mania treat, the duo proposed a ‘Winner Take All’ match for both titles. The WWE Universe was on its feet for this highly massive and high-stakes showdown that proved to be an instant classic but did not have a clear winner due to the interference of The Bar.

The WrestleMania 35 season saw the rise of KofiMania, which granted Kofi Kingston a chance at the WWE Championship against then-Planet’s champion, Daniel Bryan. The in-ring showdown proved to be one of the best bouts of the night and perhaps, also in the career of Kofi Kingston. In the end, Kingston reigned supreme and won his first-ever World Title in one of the most memorable moments in WWE history.
