The Megastar debuted in the WWE in 2013!
Following a lackluster first run in the WWE in 2013, LA Knight returned to the independent circuit and after a four-year run in TNA Wrestling followed by two years at NWA, the ‘Megastra’ returned to the Stamford-based promotion in 2021.
Knight kicked off his second stint in the promotion with the developmental brand, NXT as a heel. He was then promoted to the main roster in 2022, where he formed the Knight Model Management stable and became the manager of Mace and Mansoor.
After the stable disbanded, Knight entered a feud with Bray Wyatt, which culminated in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble PLE in January 2023. This was Wyatt’s final WWE match before his death seven months later.
Knight had one of the best years of his WWE career in 2023 as he rose to prominence and his popularity among fans began increasing. Knight’s feud with Logan Paul and his subsequent win saw him capture the United States title at Summer Slam 2024 PLE.
While he initially dropped the title after a 119-day title reign to Shinsuke Nakamura at the Survivor Series 2024 PLE, Knight reclaimed the title on the March 7, 2025, episode of SmackDown to kick off his second title reign which currently is at 37 days.
However, he now faces one of his toughest tests yet as Knight is set to defend the United States title against Jacob Fatu at the 41st edition of the WrestleMania PLE on April 19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
