Shane McMahon made an appearance last week.
During the highly anticipated November 17 show of WWE Raw, fans were pleasantly surprised to witness Shane McMahon in attendance. Although he was not shown on camera, he confirmed his appearance via X (Twitter).
McMahon tweeted out, stating that he is at MSG to watch John Cena‘s final Raw appearance. The November 17 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
The show carried huge anticipation among fans as it was not only John Cena’s final appearance on the Red brand, but also played a massive role in the lead-up to Survivor Series: WarGames.
As mentioned, after the news of Shane’s attendance on the show, some fans were able to point him out during the broadcast in the background.
Following his appearance, some fans also wondered why he wasn’t shown on the live broadcast, especially since Stephanie McMahon was featured and received a loud pop. A new report from Fightful Select has now provided some clarity on the matter.
Per Fightful, WWE sources said that the individuals featured on camera had projects to promote, whereas McMahon was just in attendance to enjoy the show. Sources also noted that he was warmly welcomed at the event.
Update on Santos Escobar amid absence from WWE programming

Santos Escobar last month re-signed with WWE. This came days after his initial contract expired. Per reports, his new deal is worth more than his previous contract with the company.
There were reports of Escobar’s appearance on the October 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, which emanated live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. However, Escobar did not make an appearance on TV and is yet to make his return, after re-signing.
There have been no updates on plans for Santos, and during a recent edition of Fightful Select Answers, Sean Ross Sapp provided an update regarding this matter.
Sapp replied to a fan asking about Escobar and noted that nothing new has surfaced regarding him since his re-signing. He added that Escobar was backstage at the October 27th episode of RAW and is making a “very good” salary under his new contract. While there are still meaningful plans for him, Sapp said they aren’t set to happen right away.
Escobar recently took his X (Twitter) account, tweeting out, “Waiting, Patiently.” with a photo of himself in a mask.
