The WWE star was arrested last week.
Ludwig Kaiser, real name Marcel Barthel, was arrested last week in Florida on battery charges. Kaiser’s arrest reportedly stemmed from an incident that took place on Thursday, April 23, at the Orlando apartment complex where he resides.
According to the NoDQ report, the complainant alleged that Kaiser and his partner were behaving in what was described as an “uncontrollably intimate” manner inside an elevator. The complainant stated that he asked the couple to “please have some manners” while exiting the elevator, after which Kaiser allegedly became physical.
Police reports claim Kaiser punched the man multiple times, shoved him to the ground, and threatened further violence. CCTV footage reportedly showed Kaiser striking and pushing the complainant outside the elevator.
On the other hand, Wrestling Inc’s founder Raj Giri reported a different version. According to him, the incident had a racial angle as the individual, who did not object to Kaise and Bazarte’s PDA in the apartment elevator, but once he got out of the 12th floor, he allegedly said, “you need to show some f’n respect before I call ICE on that b**ch.” Giri also added that while Kaise had a little struggle with the individual, no punches were thrown.
“This is what I heard regarding the Ludwig Kaiser situation. He was in the apartment elevator with Andrea Bazarte and they were being affectionate, but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary.
Reap allegedly didn’t say anything in the elevator but once he got out on the 12th floor, he allegedly said something to Kaiser to the effect of “you need to show some f’n respect before I call ICE on that b**ch.” Kaiser got out of the elevator and they had a little scuffle, but no punches were apparently thrown.”
The ICE story might be planted by insiders

According to a recent report from Fightful, the sources that they spoke to believe that the story about Ludwig Kaiser defending himself and his girlfriend and AAA personality Andrea Bazarte from the ICE-related comments was a planted story by WWE.
The report also added that the story was sent to several wrestling media members by an unknown number, rather than coming directly from Kaiser, Andrea, or anyone from WWE’s team.

Kaiser has been allowed to travel both within the United States and internationally during the duration of the case against him. This has helped Kaiser, who is currently involved in one of the biggest feuds of his WWE career as El Grande Americano against “Original” El Grande Americano in AAA.
The storyline also involved Bazarte and the two Americanos are set to battle in a mask vs mask match at the upcoming Noche de Los Grandes. The event is scheduled to emanate on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.
