Alexa Bliss made her return at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE!
After a two-year absence from the WWE, Alexa Bliss made her return at the 2025 Royal Rumble PLE in the women’s Rumble match. Despite much fanfare, Bliss only made a few appearances after her return on SmackDown.
Alexa’s last in-ring appearance was during the women’s Elimination Chamber match at the namesake PLE on March 1. As the WrestleMania 41 card was taking shape many fans were upset about Bliss’ absence and her not competing at the PLE.
On the other hand, the Wyatt Sicks faction (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy & Nikki Cross) has also been absent from WWE programming since being transferred to SmackDown during the transfer window in January.
However, the faction has since been absent from programming due to Uncle Howdy’s (Bo Dallas) injury and while there were plans for Bliss and Wyatt Sicks heading into WrestleMania nothing has yet materialized, irking fans even more.
WWE still has creative plans for Alexa Bliss & The Wyatt Sicks
Sean Ross Sapp was recently asked on Fightful Select regarding Alexa Bliss’ absence along with speculation about potential plans for her to align with The Wyatt Sicks on TV, given her past association with the late Bray Wyatt.
Replying to the question Sean stated that due to Uncle Howdy’s injury, the faction has been kept off of WWE programming entirely as there are creative plans in place for them, but only as a group.
He also noted that, according to a WWE source, The Wyatt Sicks might not return until after WrestleMania due to the current creative overload. Regarding Bliss, Sapp said there are still plans to eventually involve her with The Wyatt Sicks, but no other creative direction has been set for her which is why she was removed from WrestleMania week activities.
Sapp was unable to confirm exactly when Alexa or The Wyatt Sicks would be back as there has not been a lot of information regarding Dallas’ injury.
Fans are still rallying on social media ahead of the two go-home shows of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, but it seems like Bliss as well as Wyatt Sicks will miss the 41st edition of the WrestleMania PLE.
