The WWE star suffered an injury during the 03/04 episode of NXT
Following a backstage interaction on the 03/04 episode of WWE NXT between Cora Jade and Jordynne Grace which turned hostile, General Manager Ava, who was involved in the segment, intervened and set up a match between the two later in the episode.
The two stars locked horns in the third match of the evening in the March 4 episode of the developmental brand which emanated from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The match between Jade and Grace came to an abrupt end when Grace forced Jade into a corner, prompting the referee to intervene and check on Jade. She was unable to continue, which led to the referee calling the match off and declaring Grace the winner.
Many fans were speculating about Jade’s injury and initial speculations suggested that Jade hurt her knee. However, Cora herself took to her X (Twitter) handle and dismissed the rumor, and gave some clarity on what happened.
“Got rocked for a sec but my knees are all good (decent💀) Thanks for the concern” Cora wrote in the tweet.
Cora Jade has suffered a head injury as per reports
According to a report from Fightful Select, sources in NXT indicate that Cora Jade suffered an injury to her head, not to her knee. Sean Ross of Fightful provided this update via his X handle.
There is no word on the severity of Jade’s injury or how long she will be out of action. Jade is currently set to challenge Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts Championship at TNA Sacrifice on March 14th. There is no update on whether the match is in jeopardy due to Cora’s injury.
The 16th edition of TNA Sacrifice will air on March 14, 2025, from the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas, and air on TNA+.
Jordynee Grace reacts to Cora Jade’s injury
Grace also reacted to Cora’s injury after the match via her X handle and mocked Jade, suggesting her implants popped which caused the referee to stop the match. The two stars were going after each other on X ahead of the 03/04 show with both mocking each other for getting implants.
Khel Now extends its best wishes to Cora for a speedy recovery and will provide updates on her injury as more information becomes available.
