Injury update on Jade Cargill following the attack on WWE SmackDown

One-half of the Women’s Tag Team Championship, Jade Cargill was severely injured due to an attack on the 11/22 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Cargill was laid out unconscious on the hood during the Women’s US title tournament match between Chelsea Green, Blair Davenport, and Jade’s tag partner Bianca Belair. Belair left the match midway and rushed to check up on her tag partner.

Earlier reports suggested that she is dealing with a legitimate neck injury due to which the promotion decided to write her off ahead of the Survivor Series PLE.

However, as per recent reports from PWInsider, the initial reports are false as the dramatic segment on the 11/22 episode of SmackDown was a deliberate plot twist, laying the groundwork for a future storyline. The report closes by reiterating “So, in short, Jade Cargill is not injured.”

Drew McIntyre’s last WWE appearance was at Bad Blood 2024

‘The Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre has been absent from in-ring action since his last fight at Bad Blood 2024 in early October. The feud is regarded as one of the best feuds in all of pro wrestling this year.

McIntyre fought CM Punk in the Hell in a Cell Match at the Bad Blood PLE back on October 5. The two were involved in a gruesome feud which ultimately culminated at the PLE with Punk picking up the win.

According to reports from PWInsider, the Stamford-based promotion has started a creative discussion regarding the return of the former champion. The discussions are regarding the return timeline and storyline for McIntyre.

The reports further state, that while nothing has been officially confirmed, there have been discussions and pitches regarding McIntyre’s future direction. Additionally, it’s been revealed that McIntyre’s recent hiatus was due to personal family matters that required his attention.
