Latest update on location & venue for WWE Survivor Series 2026

The PLE will close out 2026 for WWE.
A new update regarding the 2026 edition of WWE Survivor Series has surfaced. As of now, the promotion has not announced any date or location for the Premium Live Event.
On that note, WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that WWE was planning to host the PLE at an international location. However, those plans fell through in the last few months.
The report further noted that Boston, Massachusetts, was in contention to host this year’s Survivor Series, but discussions broke down over the financial terms of the agreement.
A similar situation is said to have occurred during WWE‘s talks with the city about hosting John Cena’s final match, which ultimately was awarded to Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Votes also added that an official announcement regarding the date and venue for the PLE is expected to be made ahead of SummerSlam, which takes place on August 1 and 2.
“WWE’s 2026 Survivor Series location remains up in the air…. international plans fell through, while Boston made a push to host before talks stalled due to financial reasons.
As of now, there is no update on where Survivor Series will land, but an announcement is still expected before SummerSlam.”
Survivor Series 2025 emanated from San Diego
The 2025 edition of the PLE took place on November 29, 2025, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. This was the 39th annual Survivor Series and, as usual, the final PLE of 2025. The event featured John Cena’s final PLE appearance as her retired after losing his final match at SNME in December.
Fans are now waiting for the date and venue announcement for the 40th edition, which will close out the year, and based on the aforementioned report, an announcement is expected before SummerSlam next month,

The 39th edition will air as a two-night spectacle on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
