Randy Orton all set to make his European return
WWE has officially announced that Randy Orton will be joining the SmackDown roster for several upcoming shows in Europe. Fans in Barcelona, Bologna, and London can look forward to seeing “The Viper” in action on March 14th, 21st and 28th.
These appearances mark an exciting return for Orton, who has been a fan favorite for years. While WWE has yet to confirm additional SmackDown dates for him in the United States, he is expected to be added to more shows in the coming weeks.
Orton made his highly anticipated return to WWE television at the WWE Elimination Chamber event. The moment came after a brutal Unsanctioned Match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
As Owens prepared to inflict even more damage on Zayn following the contest, Orton made a surprise entrance, delivering his signature RKO to Owens. He then attempted to execute his infamous punt kick, but security intervened before he could complete the attack.
With Orton now officially back in the mix, his upcoming appearances in Europe could signal the start of a major storyline heading into WrestleMania season.
WWE has confirmed that Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, will also be part of the events in Bologna and London. This raises speculation about whether Orton could cross paths with “The Tribal Chief” in some capacity.
As of now, Orton is not advertised for this week’s episode of SmackDown, leaving fans eager to see what plans WWE has in store for him. His presence on the blue brand adds a significant level of excitement, especially given his past rivalries and the potential for new feuds.
With European fans set to witness Orton’s in-ring return firsthand, the WWE Universe will be watching closely to see what unfolds in the coming weeks.
