Legends to appear at WWE Draft 2024 on 4/26 SmackDown

WWE Draft 2024 is all set to take place on two nights. Night 1 of the WWE Draft will take place on the April 26, 2024 episode of SmackDown at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States.
Night 2 of the WWE Draft will take place on the April 29, 2024 episode of Raw at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. Ahead of this year’s Draft, a backstage report suggests that a number of WWE Legends will be appearing for Draft Night 1.
Legends at WWE Draft 2024
According to PWInsider Elite’s latest report, multiple WWE Hall of Famers are expected to appear on this week’s SmackDown for night 1 of the Draft this week.
It is reported that veterans such as the former WWE Champion JBL, former WWE Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze and former SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long are the confirmed names. However, a number of veterans could show up for announcing the Draft picks.
Last year at WWE Draft, WWE veterans including JBL, Teddy Long, RVD, Michael Hayes, Shawn Michaels, Rodd Dogg, Booker T, Queen Sharmell, Eric Bishcoff, Molly Holly and Rodd Dogg appeared to announce the Draft picks.

WWE Draft Pool [SmackDown]
WWE has officially released the Draft pool for both the nights of the event, where WWE Superstars such as AJ Styles, Otis, Chad Gable, Akira Tozawa, Andrade El Idolo, Bron Breakker, Ashonte Thee Adonis, Ivar, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Randy Orton, Ricochet, Seth Rollins, Shayna Baszler, Sheamus, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Paul Heyman, Zoey Stark, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Michin and some stars from NXT are eligible for the draft on Night 1 draft.
WWE Draft rules
WWE has officially announced the rules for this year’s Draft and it seems similar to last year’s Draft. Here is a glance at the Draft rules for 2024.
- On SmackDown, there will be four rounds, where a total of 16 superstars will be drafted.
- On Raw, there will be six rounds, where a total of 24 superstars will be drafted.
- Unlike last year the Champions on each brand are protected and won’t be taking part in the Draft. However the Women’s Tag Team Champions are eligible to be drafted.
- SmackDown will pick first on Friday & Raw will pick first on Monday.
- The rosters will be locked on Monday, May 6, 2024 after Backlash pay-per-view.
