Top five WWE Legends who will be in Philadelphia for WrestleMania 40 season

WWE is just weeks away from hosting its biggest professional wrestling event, WrestleMania 40. This year WrestleMania will be hosted on two nights on April 6 & April 7, 2024 at Lincoln Finance Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

A number of high-profile matches and weekend events are booked to raise the stakes in Philly. Now the latest report suggests that some legendary stars will also be in Philadelphia to join the biggest professional wrestling festival, WrestleMania 40.

PWInsider recently reported that WWE is bringing a number of big WWE stars to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the WrestleMania 40 week. Their report revealed the appearance of five WWE legends including former WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, legendary manager Jimmy Hart, WWE Hall of Famers JBL, Ron Simmons & Kane.

5. Michelle McCool

Michelle McCool was last seen on WWE was back at Royal Rumble 2024, where she accompanied his husband, The Undertaker for the 1deadMAN Show. It is unknown whether she would appear on television, however a number of fans are thrilled to meet her in Philly.

4. Farooq (Ron Simmons)

Ron Simmons aka Farooq has made a number of sporadic appearances in WWE over the years. The Hall of Famer is likely to be involved in backstage segments and delivering his iconic catchphrase “Damn”.

3. Jimmy Hart

Jimmy Hart, the legendary Manager & Hall of Famer will be in the house at Philadelphia for the WrestleMania 40 season. His last appearance in WWE was back in January 2023 at the Raw XXX show, where he opened the show with Hulk Hogan. It is unknown if we could see Hulk Hogan or not.

2. John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL)

John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL), the Hall of Famer, former World Champion, Commentator & Manager will be at Philly for the WrestleMania season. Last time JBL appeared on WWE was back in December 2023, for the Tribute to the Troops SmackDown, where he was the special guest commentator.

1. Kane

The Big Red Machine, Kane will be in the house for the WrestleMania festive season. The Mayor of Knox County announced his retirement following the Undertaker’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony. His last appearance was back in Summerslam 2022. He is a big attraction for the Philadelphia show and there will be huge excitement for fans to see him.
