Main roster debuts continue on SmackDown.
Last week’s SmackDown delivered the fallout show from WrestleMania 42, featuring the aftermath from the two-night event, while main-roster call-ups introduced fresh, new, exciting storyline opportunities as NXT stars made their presence felt on the brand.
Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) emphatically made their debut, attacking the Women’s Tag Team Champions Paige and Brie Bella during their match with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, who also suffered a beatdown from the faction.
Jayne even took it a step further, targeting the newly crowned Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton defeated Giulia to capture the Women’s United States title. On the other hand, despite the bruises, Cody Rhodes made it clear that he is an easy man to find but a hard man to beat, putting the whole division on notice.
What’s in store for tonight’s SmackDown?

Looking ahead, WWE is gearing up for the Backlash PLE, and the Blue brand, similar to Raw this week, will intensify the build towards the show, likely announcing matches for the show in Tampa, Florida, next Saturday.
Furthermore, the main roster call-ups will continue this week with former NXT Champion Ricky Saints making his debut on the Blue brand.
Additionally, after last week’s attack, Charlotte Flair wants to settle the score with Fatal Influence. She will take on Jacy Jayne in a singles match.
- Ricky Saints’ debut
- Charlotte Flair vs Jacy Jayne
- Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton & Randy Orton are listed as featured stars for the show
Returns expected on tonight’s show

While returns are likely not in store for tonight’s show, debuts are definitely in the cards. Apart from Saints’ debut, Blake Monroe’s call-up was also confirmed last week in a vignette. However, no date was revealed as WWE might want to keep it a secret.
Additionally, fans can also expect new storylines and feuds, which means stars who were largely missing from television might start to partake in segments and matches, especially with multiple new Champions.
