WrestleMania 42 week begins on WWE Raw tonight!
Before fans fill the arena in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 this weekend, the week will begin with a blockbuster go-home show of Monday Night Raw. Stars set to collide at Allegiant Stadium will face off for the final time.
Last week’s show saw CM Punk cut a scathing promo, calling out Roman Reigns, Pat McAfee, and even The Rock. On the other hand, the contract signing between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi ended in a massive brawl.
Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, will play host to the final edition of the Red Brand before Mania, with Seth Rollins, Gunther, Brock Lesnar, and Oba Femi all joining Punk and Reigns on the show.
What’s in store for tonight’s WWE Raw?
For the final time before their main event showdown with the World Heavyweight title on the line, CM Punk and Roman Reigns will face off on tonight’s WWE Raw. The appearance comes on the heels of last week, when Reigns was absent from the show, while Punk cut a scathing promo not just on Reigns, but also blasted The Rock and Pat McAfee.
This week’s WWE Raw takes on extra significance as it is the last chance for the two rival camps to square off in a non-pay-per-view environment before they step into the ring at Allegiant Stadium on April 19. General Manager Adam Pearce has announced that Reigns will have a special message for the Champion.
Brock Lesnar’s final stop on his Road to WrestleMania schedule is the April 13 edition. Lesnar is set to face Oba Femi at the Grandest Stage, with Femi having had the upper hand every time the two have collided. Last week’s contract signing spiralled into complete chaos, with both competitors continuing to brawl even after the show went off the air.

Returns expected on tonight’s WWE Raw
Roman Reigns will return tonight after being absent last week. The last time Reigns and Punk faced off, it ended in a brawl where Punk slammed Reigns through the announce desk, and after last week’s promo by Punk, fans are waiting to see how the Tribal Chief responds.
Reigns won the Royal Rumble match on January 31, 2026, entering at number 26 and scoring five eliminations, earning a WrestleMania title shot against World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
Additionally, reacting to Adam Pearce’s tweet on X where he previewed the upcoming show, Royce Keys noted that Sacramento is only a “1hr 15min drive” for him, hinting at a possible appearance after his main roster debut on SmackDown last week in San Jose.
