The Road to SummerSlam kicked off last week on Raw.

WWE not only addressed the fallout from Night of Champions on Monday Night Raw last week but also kicked off the Road to SummerSlam 2026. The promotion added two more major matches to the PLE card last week.

Before SummerSlam, the promotion will deliver the July 18 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event from MSG in New York. Two matches were already announced for the show last week on SmackDown, and more are anticipated for tonight’s Raw.

What’s in store for tonight’s WWE Raw?

Tonight’s July 6 edition of WWE Raw will air live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. WWE has announced three title matches for the show. Sami Zayn will defend the Undisputed title in a Night of Champions rematch against Cody Rhodes.

Another title rematch announced will see The Street (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defend the WWE World Tag Team titles against The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory). On the other hand, Sol Ruca battles Raquel Rodriguez with the Women’s Intercontinental title on the line.

Additionally, Seth Rollins, after the SummerSlam title match announcement against Roman Reigns, will kick off the broadcast, while Oba Femi will address his decision to face Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell.

Returns expected on tonight’s WWE Raw

Multiple reports have hinted at CM Punk’s return for tonight’s Raw, which will emanate from his hometown of Chicago. Punk has been absent from programming since April, when he made an appearance on Raw after Mania and engaged in a segment teasing a showdown with Cody Rhodes.

This is the reason behind many fans speculating if Punk will return to cost Cody or challenge him for SummerSlam if Rhodes manages to regain the title.

Ticket Update for tonight’s show

According to the latest update via WrestleTix (three days ago), 1,193 tickets remain available for the show. The current setup is 12,438 seats, with 11,245 tickets distributed, an increase of 802 since the previous update (one day earlier).

The total number of seats on the map is 17,084, while the 09/05/2025 edition of SmackDown at the venue saw a total of 16,642 tickets distributed.
