This week’s WWE Raw will deal with the fallout from Night of Champions 2026.
WWE Night of Champions 2026 is now in the books. The premium live event delivered one of the most shocking title changes in recent memory, as Sami Zayn pinned Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in the triple threat main event.
Oba Femi and Iyo Sky were crowned the 2026 King and Queen of the Ring, respectively, while Seth Rollins defeated Bron Breakker inside a steel cage.
WWE returns stateside this Monday to deal with the aftermath, and all eyes are on “The OTC” Roman Reigns, who was personally announced to appear on tonight’s Monday Night Raw during the Night of Champions broadcast itself. The show could also feature the first Raw appearances of the newly crowned King and Queen of the Ring.
What’s in store for tonight’s WWE Raw?
Tonight’s edition of WWE Raw will emanate live from the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It marks the first time WWE has held a Raw in Atlantic City since May 2008, making it a notable occasion in its own right.
Roman Reigns is confirmed to appear on Raw for the first time in several weeks. His return comes amid significant fallout from Night of Champions, where Jey Uso failed to win the King of the Ring tournament, a goal that Reigns had explicitly ordered him to pursue.
Adding to the chaos in the Bloodline’s orbit, Solo Sikoa is now standing alone after Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa parted ways with him. How Reigns responds to all of this is the biggest talking point heading into tonight’s show.
On the WWE RAW match card, a singles clash between Chad Gable and JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day has been confirmed.
The match was set up during last week’s Raw in London, where Dominik Mysterio and Gable got into a backstage confrontation. When Gable called for a fight, Mysterio instead directed him toward McDonagh. Gable, riding momentum after his babyface return, takes on the Judgment Day member tonight.
Additionally, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Liv Morgan, Oba Femi, and Rhea Ripley are all listed as featured superstars for the evening on WWE.com, meaning major appearances and segments are expected across the board as the road to SummerSlam 2026 officially begins.

Returns expected on tonight’s WWE Raw
Roman Reigns’ return is the biggest confirmed highlight of the evening. “The OTC” was absent from last week’s show in London and was officially announced to appear in Atlantic City during the Night of Champions broadcast, which itself signals WWE is treating this as a major moment.
Beyond that, no surprise returns have been officially announced or heavily rumoured ahead of tonight’s show. However, given that this is the first Raw following a premium live event and that the SummerSlam buildup kicks off in earnest, additional appearances from Raw’s top stars are fully expected throughout the night.
