The Biggest Party of the Summer produced four new champions.
WWE SummerSlam 2026, the second-biggest show on the promotion’s calendar, took place across two nights, August 1 and 2, at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The two-night format delivered a mix of retained titles and new champions across both the men’s and women’s divisions.
On Night 1, CM Punk retained the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes after a returning Randy Orton cost Rhodes the match. Liv Morgan held off Iyo Sky to retain the Women’s World Championship, while Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in a brutal Hell in a Cell main event.
Night 2 saw Roman Reigns close the show by outlasting Seth Rollins to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, bringing a measure of closure to their long-running Shield rivalry.
The night also produced three title changes: Chad Gable dethroned Penta for the Intercontinental Championship, Baron Corbin defeated Trick Williams for the United States Championship, and Chelsea Green won a five-woman Ladder Match to become the first-ever Interim WWE Women’s Champion, filling in for the injured Rhea Ripley.
In the aftermath of SummerSlam, let us take a look at the list of current Champions in the WWE, including the main roster, NXT, Evolve and ID.

Three championships changed hands: the Interim WWE Women’s Championship (won by Chelsea Green), the Intercontinental Championship (won by Chad Gable), and the United States Championship (won by Baron Corbin).
Why is there an Interim WWE Women’s Champion?
Rhea Ripley has been out of action with a knee injury since June, so WWE crowned an interim champion in a Ladder Match. Chelsea Green will unify the titles with Ripley once she is medically cleared to return.
