Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is a traditional Battle Royal held yearly as a part of the WrestleMania weekend. This is a traditional battle royal, which is held to honour the legacy of Andre the Giant, who is a mighty wrestler over seven feet tall and weighs over 500 pounds. He participated in a number of battle royals during his time. 

WWE has been hosting the match since 2014 at WrestleMania XXX, and has been traditionally hosting every year, as part of the grand event. In 2020, at WrestleMania 36, the match didn’t occur due to COVID-19 pandemic concerns. The match however, returned in 2021, and was shifted to SmackDown, one day prior to WrestleMania. 

The winner of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal will be awarded with an Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy, featuring a statue of the legend himself. Here is the list of all Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Winners to date.

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal

Similar to Andre The Giant Battle Royal, WWE hosted a WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal in 2018 and 2019 at the WrestleMania Kick-0ff Pre-show. However, after the COVID-19 pandemic, the Women’s Battle Royal Match was dropped. Here is the list of Women’s Battle Royal Winners.

WrestleMania 41

This year, WWE hosted the 11th annual edition of Andre the Giant Battle Royal at the last episode of SmackDown before WrestleMania 41. Carmelo Hayes outlasted everyone to win the 2025 battle royal on the go-home show, which emanated from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
