NXT Women’s Championship is the primary women’s championship of NXT
WWE NXT Women’s Championship is one of the professional wrestling championships, created and promoted by WWE. The title is primarily defended in WWE’s secondary promotion NXT, where it is the primary title of the women’s division. The title was first introduced in April 2013 and has been active to date.
Although the title is being defended in WWE‘s secondary brand, it plays a major role in making the Women’s Grand Slam Champion. Here we take a look at the list of all the NXT Women’s Champions, championship legacy and the current champion.
NXT Women’s Championship Legacy
The NXT Women’s Championship has witnessed a total of 20 reigns so far, held by 17 champions and three vacancies. Paige is the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion. Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler and Roxanne Perez are tied for the most number of title reigns with two. Asuka has the longest single reign for the title with 522 days.
